Grants will allow researchers to purchase supplies, travel to remote locations, and record and analyze data critical for conserving wild spaces and soundscapes. Grants will be used by for teachers to buy equipment and materials to teach children the importance of soundscapes and the effects of noise pollution, and by students doing independent research using acoustics.

Opsanus Fund has no paid staff. 100% of the donations received are put directly into the work we're doing.
What will donations be used for?

Allows a researcher to purchase buoys, rope, and other equipment

Allows an educator to buy a microphone and supplies for a lesson

Allows a researcher to travel and conduct work at remote locations

Pays for professional grade microphones and hydrophones necessary to collect high quality data
Because we are focused on small but impactful grants, each dollar goes a long way.
